Ok, now we are getting more complex
This time we are building a shifter for going between gear one, two and three.
Unlike the manual valvebody shifter, this is an electronic device- not a mechanical one. A shaft/shifter goes between 3 positions in a zig-zag formation.
In each position the shifter closes two electrical switches. One lites up a LED so you know you're in gear, the 2nd switches +12volts DC to go to the CTCM circuit.
Thus this shifter will have a ground, a +12 volts and will have 3 outputs (one gets 12volts while in 1st- one for 2nd, 3rd, etc).
Next I will place an LED on each solenoid wire (leaving the solenoid pack) and these LEDs will go into the shift box. That way, one knows exactly which solenoids are in use at any moment while the tranny is running.
