THE Dodge Dynasty Website
Guide to EEK dash clusters, swaps, etc
AC/AY bodies:
1988-1993 Dodge Dynasty, 1988-1993 Chrysler New Yorker, 1990-1993
Chrysler 5th Ave (FWD), 1990-1993 Chrysler Imperial
The first off the shelft cluster found in these cars was the
1988-1989 Analog Dash Cluster. This cluster is a typical analog
cluster, has a 0-85 MPH speedo, fuel level, engine temp, oil
pressure, and voltmeter. This cluster does NOT use any
databus/ccd-bus (aka no BCM is used). Thus this cluster should work
in any EEK that you can fit it in.

Next we have the same analog cluster as above, only the speedo has
been changed to read up to 120 MPH. This cluster is used in 1990-1993
cars of this type. It will also should work in any EEK you can fit it
in.

Here is the 1988-1991 Digital dash used in the AC/AY body cars. This
cluster shows the same information as the analog clusters of these
years however it does use the CCD bus. That means that a 1988/1989
will ONLY work in a 1988/1989 model-year EEK, a 1990 will only work
in a 1990, a 1991 will only work in a 1991. Also note that the
1988-1989 year clusters will only read up to 85mph on the speedo.

Here is the 1992-1993 Digital Dash cluster used in the AC/AY body
cars, it is basically a new style display of the digital dash cluster
above. The difference is that at stead of using bars to display gauge
information, LED's emullate a needle-sweep display. It again uses the
CCD bus s a 1992 will only work in a 1992, a 1993 will only work in a
1993.
