The AC/AY's that got ABS (most if not all Imperials, 5th Aves and NYers, optionally on some Dynasty's) were given one of two systems. Reguardless which one you have, it is #1) the earliest Mopar ABS systems and not well refined yet in design, #2) VERY expensive to replace parts on and #3) a repair job nightmare.
Before I continue- I must point out to ****check local, state and federal laws before attempting this**** as it is illegal in some areas to tamper with ABS or airbag systems on cars.
If your laws allow it, I highly advice replacing the ABS system with the traditional powerbrake system found on the lower priced AC/AY's. Basically you're going to want to grab all the basic brake parts off of the parts car (wheel cylinders, pads, master cylinder, etc).
You pretty much just throw it on the car, bleed the system, test and you're done. A worthy project to do at the same time you have to replace the OEM air suspension system (if you have it) since chances are, the parts car that can supply you with parts for this projcet can also supply the other (and vice versa).
Although most dealers will look at you like you're crazy if you ask for your ABS to be removed, many dealers/repair shops (where it is legal) will gladly do this if and when your ABS system causes problems.
Alternatively, you could perform a ABS to nonABS swap as a preventative measure when you have spare time, since, after all, the long term costs are cheaper.
