The Non-blinking Blinkers

Its not uncommon for an EEK to develope a condition where your blinker(s) do not flash. The flasher is good, and yet when you put on the hazards or blinker- the lights turn on, but do not blink.

I have had this happen to both of the EEK's I have played with (my k-car and later the Dynasty).

Typicaly what happens is that the ground for the blinker circuit is a bad connection, and the lightbulbs are finding alternate routes to ground.

To fix the problem, take a ohm meter and check the resistance to ground on the blinker's circuit. Basically have one end of the ohm meter touching the "-" battery terminal, and then touch the other end of the meter to the ground wire for the blinker light bulbs. Whichever ground wire gives you ANY resistance value (you should be very close if not zero resistance) is the problem wire. Or there could be dirt, rust, etc inside the actual socket for the light bulb.
