Its quite common for the door pannels on the AC/AY to come lose. Usually the glue keeping the plastic door sections together will decompose with age, and/or the plastic door pannels will unattach from the metal door. This can be both ugly, annoying (gets in your way, etc) and make noise as it vibrates with the car's movements.
To repair these pannels, one must use a high strength epoxy, or in some cases, the black silcone used in cars to install windshields. Tile adhesive sometimes works, or one could find a hidden (not vissable) location for some bolts/screws to attach the pannels to the metal door.
The most common problem in this aspect of your door is for the "chrome" trim piece along the bottoms of the windows to become unattached, sometimes allowing it to fall inside the door (between the metal door and the plastic door pannels).
The next most common problem is for the fake, plastic wood-trim pannels to fall off. These are the easiest to fix and even some cheap superglues can occasionally work for this specific problem.
